The singer appeared on the cover of “Telescope” weekly magazine. In her interview to Telescope Zlata tells that as a teen she was a problem child. “No, I wasn’t trying to run away from home but I would move mom to tears. Parent-child relationships have always been difficult as we belong to different generations. It’s important to realize this at the right time to avoid pressure.” Zlata confessed that her breaking moment in life happened when she lost her voice. “I was genuinely scared. I was prescribed to keep quiet and other vocal cord treatments. Those days I did lots of thinking about who I am and what music means to me. After that I started taking singing more seriously.” When commenting on her participation in the TV show “Clash of the choirs” Zlata said: “I sang in the choir for eight years but I have never directed a big band. I can be strict but it’s still difficult although when managing a team you need to be tough.” Talking about achieving success Zlata said that a talent and hard work also require faith. “My magic words are “I want” and “I will get it done.” Read full interview with ZLata Ognevich in the weekly magazine Telescope.
